Alt-rock Darling Ryan Adams just does not quit! The critical favorite is back in the studio despite his most recent work with his band the Cardinals Cardinology, being only a month old! The new material is loosely titled Dear impossible, and Adams is working with Noah Goldstein engineer in more than a dozen new songs like "Firefly", "Please keep an" and "Your Name Here". Adams has described the new material similar to 2004 love is hell and wrote on his blog that is "more like a pop, melodic style." Bryan Adams was born in Jacksonville, North Carolina and raised in country music from classic artists like Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn and Merle Haggard, but in his teens he discovered his punk rock and started playing electric guitar. This explains the inclination of Adams' for Alt-country that has exploded into the mainstream. Adams formed his first band, The Patty Duke Syndrome and moved to Raleigh, North Carolina with the group when he was 19, but the young musician left the projects to expand their musical horizons.

In 1994, Adams left PDS and formed Whiskeytown with guitarists Phil Wandscher and violinist Caitlin Cary. The bassist Steve Grothman and drummer Eric "Skillet" Gilmore completing the lineup and Whiskeytown (which got its name from a local slang word for drunk) released their debut album of Faithless Street on local label Mood Food. The album was critically praised and fans saying that was just what the alt-country genre is necessary. At the time Whiskeytown signed with major label Geffen Records and released Outpost Stranger's Almanac, In 1997, Adams and Wandscher were the band members left. For the next two years, the poster left Wandscher varied as Cary returned among other changes, and the band's third album, pneumonia, was shelved due to label issues. Whiskeytown soon dissolved, leaving Adams to start a solo career with a series of solo acoustic tour.

After launching his solo career, Adams entered the studio in Nashville songwriters Gillian Welch and David Rawlings to work his first album under his own name. The result was issued through pioneering Heartbreaker Bloodshot Records label in 2000 and did well in sales, received positive reviews and was endorsed by none other than Elton John! After signing with Universal's new Americana print Lost Highway Records, the label relaunched Whiskeytown Pneumonia early 2001 and later that year issued solo effort from sophomore Adam Gold. The album was diverted to the pop and rock reminiscent of the 1970s and his first song, "New York, New York," was a popular radio anthem in the wake of the attacks of Sept. 11. Acclaimed Music "next big thing", the prolific composer set to work on another album and finished with a material strong enough to produce four albums, but instead of Adams stripped more than 60 songs and only 13 tracks to appear in 2002 demolition. In 2003 the concept album Rock N Roll was released along with the double-EP Love Is Hell and Adams embarked on a world tour rampant.

In May 2005, double disc Cold Roses marked the first of three releases from Lost Highway. The album was followed by melancholy Jacksonville City Nights to September, a classic honky-tonk record, and on 29 December of that year. After giving tracks to fans through his website, Adams released albums in the appropriate way in 2007 from Easy Tiger and 2008's Cardinology with the Cardinals.
