The batting cages act as the working facilities for baseball players. Since there are various components used for networking, you know the different types will evaluate what is best and who can work for your advantage.

A batting cage is an enclosed cage for baseball players. It consists of a framework, an automatic pitching machine and a network or chain link fence. It is rectangular and is used for sessions of batting. The batting cages are more often seen on the inside.

The batter needs to stand on one end of the cage. Then the launcher machine live or will appear in the other end. The live pitcher or pitching machine baseballs will be launched toward the batter. The goal is for the batter to hit balls.

NYLON

AKA-DURA TECH is a brand known for the use of nylon batting cages.

The conventional nylon material has always been knotted or knotless. Nylon has been known since the 1930. The yarn can be dyed different colors.

Nylon performs very well in indoor use. It is resistant to scratches and has capabilities high tension, especially if kept away from harmful elements. KVX200 has an attribute of resistance scratch. It also has a strong long-term high break – both indoor and outdoor use. Does not absorb water. It is also lightweight. Apart from this, has an excellent UV resistance. However, KVX200 is more expensive.

Polyethylene (PE)

This is very popular because it is cheap. It also has some excellent properties for use outdoors despite its cheap price.

Polyethylene or PE does not absorb water. That does not rot, and this makes it the best choice for outdoor cages. If you are going to use PE in direct sunlight, make sure you have a UV inhibitor. PE has a lower break strength compared to nylon. Although the breaking strength is lower, maintains its strength better when exposed to various weather conditions.
